The defending champs have been dethroned from the top spot. Welcome to the Air Force 1 Era.
10. Hyperflight - New key for Hyperflight. Get Bobby Jones the rock. He had a season-high 15 points against Delta Force, looking tough going strong to the cup. His performance wasn't enough to get the win, though.
9. Terminator - Coming off a big win against Hyperflight, Term only mustered 30 points against Shox last week, and didn't get a single player in double-figures. No. 1 pick Michael Smith has the athleticism and the ability to be a game-changer for these guys, but he didn't live up to the bidding last week.
8. Delta Force - No offense to Hyperflight, but you can't beat the only team without a win by eight points and hope to move up in the rankings. Despite a really nice game from Damian Bulluck, it wasn't exactly a convincing win.
7. Generation - Generation tumbles from No. 5 down to No. 7, because of their three-point struggles. They were 1-10 from deep as a team this week, lowering their season average to 15.9% 3FG. Fewer three's might mean better results.
6. Huarache - Though Huarache has a loss to Delta Force this season, they showed glimpses of a top five team during their win over Generation last week. Pat Cassidy's (14 points) jumper was falling again, LeKeith Taylor (17 points, 12 rebs, 7 blocks) was getting absolutely anywhere he wanted, and Christian Grant-Fields (6 points, 10 rebs, 5 assists) was distributing the ball with purpose.
5. Foamposite - These fellas were off last week, but they moved up a spot in the Power Rankings, simply because the play among the bottom five teams in the League was uninspiring.
4. Dunk - Dunk stays put after an off-week, but don't sleep on these guys. They're the most accurate three-point shooting team in the league by a significant margin, hitting 45.5% of their tries from beyond the arc.
3. Shox - Despite winning their fourth straight, Shox doesn't get the nod up to No. 2. Their win over Terminator wasn't pretty. They shot under 35% as a team from the floor, and under 50% from the free throw line. If it wasn't for their tough D, Shox could've been upset.
2. Uptempo - Mike Won went off for 22 and 10 last week, but he and Stalley (16 pts, 7 rebs) were the only two guys on their squad who were able to play at the same high level we've seen all year long. AF1's Brandon Smith proved that Scott Williams can be stopped, holding one of NRF's best scorers to 9 points (1-7 3FG)
1. Air Force 1 - AF1's upset of Uptempo was eerily similar to their win over Shox in week one. They got down pretty big in the first half, but never gave up. And at the end of the game, Eric Raymundo pulled the win out with some last-second heroics. For a team as dangerous as AF1 from three-point range, they were unbelievably accurate inside the arc, making 15-24 tries in two-point range.
