Like Rajon Rondo, Do Kim doesn't really need too many dribble moves to get the job done. He's fast enough with the ball as is. Foamposite's starting point guard is one of the fastest guards in NRF from end-to-end, and he's equally tough to stop from getting to the rack in the halfcourt set. That being said, he's not crazy enough to challenge Usain Bolt in a footrace.
As fast as Do is with the ball, he might be best when strapping up on defense. Like Rondo, he's a real annoyance to ball handlers, as he has quick hands, and he's aggressive. That's why he's averaging a ball-hawking 2.7 steals per game. But that's not all that he does - Kim does a bit of everything. He's posting 9.7 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 2.3 apg, and a ball-hawking 2.7 spg right now. The one thing that he doesn't do all that well is shoot it from deep. He's shooting 20% from beyond the arc right now. That's not all that different from Rondo, who is only making 30% of his tries from three.
But perhaps the strongest connection between these two point guards is the way that they pass. Both of these guys will dribble-drive into the paint through the second layer of the defense, past the point where they can get a shot up. That's why it's common to see them throw long passes from the paint out to teammates spotting up around the perimeter.
