Same old story at the top spot. But the question is: Who is No. 2?
10. Hyperflight - They won't be the Detroit Lions of the NRF, mark my words. After Dunk's recent trade, they might be susceptible to the stellar play of Derrin Woodhouse.
9. Delta Force - DF played Foamposite so tough two weeks ago, it could have gone either way. But they weren't able to close it out down the stretch. However, Kelvin Coffey's accurate outside shooting as of late has got to be an encouraging sign.
8. Dunk - After looking nearly invincible during some of those early-season weeks, Team Dunk has fallen off slightly. What do they need to get back on track? With everyone keying in on Will Blunt and Bobbito Garcia so intently, watch out for Bang Takenouchi to step up big time.
7. Terminator - Unfortunately Term is stuck in the seven spot despite playing a great game two weeks ago. Al Reyes put in his best game of the season, Treasure Kyn Neal was awesome, and the rest of the Term crew stepped up too. Now they have confidence. Can Term break the top five this year?
6. Foamposite - Keith Howard is becoming must-see TV. After absolutely destroying Delta Force with the full monty of mid-range jumpers, hard drives to the rack and all the intangibles, this guy is a lot of fun to watch. Can he improve on a 28-point, 8-rebound week against DF two weeks ago against AF1 this week?
5. Shox - Jason Burke proved a point during the All-Star game, going haywire for 27 points, 11 boards and 4 blocks. When NRF's version of Chris Bosh is locked in, making shots from all over the court, Shox goes from being a solid squad to being nearly unbeatable. Can he keep up this pace?
4. Air Force 1 - AF1 needs to get back to their run-and-gun style of play. Instead of setting up the half court and working hard to pick apart the zone on every possession, this team becomes extra lethal when they get out and get easy baskets. There's nobody in the league who is better with the ball in his hands on the break than Mr. Rivera.
3. Huarache - Beware of the hottest team in NRF. Despite a 4-6 record, nobody wants to deal with this team when they're playing with confidence as we've seen during their last two outings, wins over Shox and Air Force 1. That win over AF1 might go down as the best single performance of the year - Huarache shot 24-27 from two-point range as a team!
2. Generation - The highest spot Generation has seen all season is a direct result of Rafael DaSilva. If he brings it yet again this week against Huarache, does he solidify himself as an elite PG with PR and Mike Won?
1. Uptempo - Does anyone believe that Uptempo isn't going to be at the Garden? At 10-1, I would say that they're as close to a lock as you get right now.
